Puthiya Theerangal - 25 days.....A clean Hit , Some Facts , Thanks to all those who loved the movie

Puthiya Theerangal completed 25 days. Yes, It was tough 25 days, it went through all the wrong social networking media publicity. In the end it got proved one more time that no one can ruin or stop good movies...The most disappointing reality is it was those people who didnt watched the movie is giving wrong information or reviews about the movie..If you go through one of the review from a famous newspaper online version, it is evident.


Anyway Puthiya Theerangal overcame all these evil forces and provided the producer a descent profit. But to be honest, this movie deserved more. We accept the movies with new outlook and malayalam film industry really needed it. But again this is Kerala, movies should have to be made keeping our culture in our mind. How can a father take their children to a movie where vulgar language/scenes has been used. Ofcourse,Film Censor Board failed to do their duty. Those movies should have to be given a different certificate. No offense, we are not opposing those movies blindly but those movies should reach the people who like those.

Through Puthiya Theerangal Sathyan Anthikkad one more time proved that family audience can trust him. Any dad or mom can take their children to his movies, Any husband can go to watch a movie with his wife, any brother can take their sister. Any son/daughter can take their dad/mom to theater.

Puthiya Theerangal gave some good actors that can be asset to Malayalam film industry. No one can replace our legendary actors like Thilakan, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Shankaradi, Bharath Gopi, Cochin Haneef, Philomina. Not as a replacement of their acting caliber but someone who can  represent the similar characters portrayed them in the past , Puthiya Theerangal provided some talented actors like Molly Kannammaly, Perunna Madhu , Kovoor Vinod, Sidharth Siva, Dharmajan Bolgatty.

Those who still didnt watch the movie, we request you to watch it at the earliest. It wont disappoint you. We have been hearing lot of good words from lot of families. Lot of families seconded the theme and message conveyed in this movie.  Once again Sathyan Anthikkad reminded us about the meaning of relationship, love, goodness through the movie Puthiya Theerangal...

Puthiya Theerangal ...brings back family to theater after a long time..

Yes as usual after the first day criticism against the movie, now the movie has been taken by family audience. Most of the theaters had houseful shows today.  As per the reports from theater, family audience like the movie very much..."Simple movie", "typical Sathyan Anthikkad movie", are the comments from most of the people who watched the movie...

We all witnessed the same sort of criticism during the initial days of Vinodayathra, Achuvinte Amma, Yathrakkarude Sraddakku,Snehaveedu.....but we all know what happened after that...

If you are a person who loves good movies , go for this movie with open heart..
its a simple Sathyan Anthikkad movie....come with your family....you will enjoy it...

നല്ല സിനിമയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന മലയാളികള്‍ക്ക് ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ സത്യന്‍ അന്തിക്കാടിന്റെ സമ്മാനമാണ് പുതിയ തീരങ്ങള്‍.

നന്മയുള്ള, മലയാളത്തിന്റെ മണമുള്ള സത്യന്‍ അന്തിക്കാട് ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ആസ്വദിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമെങ്കില്‍ പുതിയ തീരങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളെ നിരാശപെടുത്തില്ല. ദ്വയാര്‍ത്ഥ പ്രയോഗങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലാത്ത , കാണാന്‍ പാടില്ലാത്ത ഒരൊറ്റ രംഗം പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത, നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളോടും ഭാര്യയോടും കൂടെ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരുന്നു കാണാന്‍ പറ്റുന്ന ഒരു നല്ല ചിത്രം.

Jagathy Sreekumar will be back soon

Recently Sathyan sir visited Jagathy Sreekumar in Velloor hospital and as per him he is getting recovered well and will be back soon. He is taking food properly and is responding to medicine very well. He actually visited Calicut hospital the very next day the accident happened. When he met Jagathy Sreekumar this time, he shook hand and was able to understand almost everything he told. As per Sathyan sir Jagathy is responding well to most of his colleagues from film industry when they visit him.. Once he recover the ability to speak, then it wont be that much far away from our Old Jagathy...For sure, he will be back..

Yes..as usual ,shooting of the latest movie is almost getting completed, Sathyan sir named his latest movie "Puthiya Theerangal"..There were lot of announcements about other names , but as always it is just rumors...



The movie will not be releasing for this Onam, as it is planning for a late September release.


Movie has some melodious songs composed by Ilayaraja. After a short gap Kaithapram is back as lyricist.
